Brooke Fahey to be featured in Grappling Superfight at UGA Spring Open
Miller Brothers MMA’s teen grappling standout Brooke Fahey will be taking part in a featured superfight at the United Grapplers Association 2017 Spring Open at St. Veronica School in Howell, NJ. The event will feature both Gi and No-Gi divisions for kids, teens and adults, as well as a series of superfights between accomplished local grapplers. Brooke is taking on Gabby Etzel in a submission-only bout in the gi.
Brooke is one of the most accomplished young grapplers in the sport, with 10 first place finishes despite often having to compete against larger opponents in the adult division. She was recently rewarded for her years of hard work with her blue belt shortly after her 16th birthday, the minimum age for such an honor. Last year, she led the Miller Brothers MMA team with five first place finishes and five second place finishes despite being forced to compete up one or more weight classes in every tournament she attended. She capped the year off with a gold medal in Gi and silver medal in No-Gi at the Good Fight World Championships, a tournament she earned her entry in by winning both the Gi and No-Gi divisions at the Good Fight New Jersey Open.
Everyone at the Miller Brothers MMA team is proud of Brooke for the recognition her performances have earned her and look forward to being there to support her in her first featured match.
