Miller Brothers MMA goes 2-0 as Christie Frazier and Mike Amada win their debut fights
It was another great night for Miller Brothers MMA & Fitness at Dead Serious 24 in Freehold, NJ as both Christie Frazier and Mike Amada picked up dominant victories in their amateur MMA debuts. Christie got the night started on the right foot with the event’s opening bout as she stuffed her opponent’s takedowns while winning the striking exchanges to earn a unanimous decision victory over Maddy Cerron. Riding on the momentum of Christie’s victory, Mike came to the cage to take on Paulo De Andrade. After controlling the first two rounds with his superior wrestling and top control, and bloodying his opponent on the feet with a counter right hand, Mike again scored a quick takedown in the third frame to secure the rear naked choke at :39 of Round 3.
The fight continues the momentum the fight team started the year with at PA Cage Fight 27 when Joe Tizzano, Cristian Santos and Jim Fitzpatrick combined to go 3-0 with a pair of finishes. In total, the Miller Brothers MMA fight team has now won 17 of its last 19 bouts with five fighters picking up their first career victories in that stretch. We look forward to more successes moving forward, starting on April 1 when coach Mike Pagano (7-1) returns to action for the first time since 2014 when he takes on Andres Encinales in an Army-veteran vs. Navy-veteran bout at Spartyra Fight League XXVIII: Pride.
